EDC Orlando 2019 Unveils Full Lineup
EDC's headliners recently rejoiced at the unveiling of Orlando's 2019 lineup. This year's EDC Orlando has well and truly been upgraded: organisers have assembled their best lineup so far, introduced bigger staging and added an extra day to make it a three day festival.
Aside from all this, there will be a myriad of highlights, such as a B2B with Adventure Club and Bear Grillz, Adam Beyer presents Drumcode and Green Velvet presents La La Land.
A$AP Rocky Convicted of Assault But Avoids Jail
At the end of June, US rapper A$AP ROCKY was arrested by police in Sweden for engaging in a street fight. Upon hearing the news, fans and rappers around the world couldn't sit still, to the extent that even Donald Trump got involved. Following the artist's detainment, an online campaign quickly took flight and the hashtag #FreeFlacko began trending on Twitter.
A$AP Rocky was finally able to go home in early August- on the 14th, the Swedish court convicted him and sentenced him to pay compensation, but the rapper managed to avoid a jail sentence. At this point, the dispute has finally come to a close and everything is back to normal (although A$AP Rocky will never go to Sweden again).
Armada Music's 1,500th Single
One of the Netherlands most prized DJs Armin van Buuren recently dropped a new track, but what makes this one so special is that it marks the 1500th release on the Armada Music label he co-founded back in 2003. Take a listen to the trance banger STICKUP now.
Where do DJs Spend Their Money?
In addition to touring, one of the fundamental roles of an international big-name DJ is, of course, the lavish spending on real estate and luxury cars. Take Rezz and Getter's Audi R8s for example, or Jauz's Porsche Panamera 4S, Deadmau5' countless luxury cars and so on.
The latest to upgrade his wheels is Afrojack, who just added two blue Bugattis to his garage. How much? I don’t know and I don’t dare to ask.
ISY Recruits Fans to Attend Their Press Conference for the First Time
The International Sanya Music Festival, which is one of China's leading large-scale electronic music festivals, recently announced that they will be holding an ISY 3.0 press conference. The detail that surprised people the most, was that this conference will be the first to fully invite fans to attend. Whether it's the chance to have close contact with the organisers or simply to be first to find out festival related news, for the fans it seems like an opportunity not to be missed.
