New Song Recommendations

09/10 Coone- Now Or Never (feat. David Spekter)

The first song on our list, Now Or Never, is sure to bring you some energy during the weekdays. The track was brought out by one of the iconic hardstyle producers- Coone, together with David Spekter. Their last collaboration Faye was a birthday gift, which Coone gave to his one year old daughter. Now or Never speaks of the struggles that come with trying to maintain a perfect image in the public eye, emphasising the importance of acknowledging your achievements and recognising how far you've come in life.

09/10 Zeds Dead & Jauz- Shake

Two top producers of dubstep, Zeds Dead and Jauz, decided to join forces nearly two years after their first fire collaboration, Zeds Dead & Jauz - Lights Go Down. As the name suggests, this new track Shake will make your mind and body tremble with its incredible bass.

Later this year, Jauz will perform at Insomniac's Escape: Psycho Circus Korea, which marks the first time the Halloween festival has come to Asia. Tickets are on sale now at FestGround.com.

09/12 Riton & Oliver Heldens- Turn Me On (feat. Vula)

If you're into TikTok at all, you'll probably be familiar with Riton from his viral track Fake I.D.

Last week, Riton released a deep house track together with No.9 DJ in the world Oliver Heldens. The song has already been added to the sets of numerous producers as well as DJ tracklists due to its undeniably groovy sound. Later this year, Heldens will perform at Indonesia's Djakarta Warehouse Project, in addition to Martin Garrix, Zedd and Calvin Harris. Tickets are on sale now and are available via the link here.

09/13 Armin van Buuren & Tempo Giusto- Mr. Navigator

Armin van Buuren released a new tech trance tune called Mr. Navigator this week with the help of Tempo Guisto. The song will feature in Armin’s upcoming album, BALANCE, which will be the artist's seventh studio album and is due for release in October.

09/13 Matisse & Sadko- Doberman

Russian duo Matisse & Sadko released their new track Doberman this week. Unlike their former progressive house or big room tracks, this time they used high frequencies in their build up and blended psy elements into the drop. Check the new track below or review their old track Mistaken here, for which they collaborated with Martin Garrix and Alek Aris.

09/13 Throttle- Japan

Japan is the latest track released by 22 year old Australian DJ Throttle. Signed to Monstercat, Throttle is known for putting his own spin on disco music, creating beats that are practically designed to fill a dance floor. Japan is a somewhat mellow but bouncy tune with a catchy rhythm- in fact it's so infectious that when the drop hits it's pretty hard to stop your head from bopping along to the beat.

09/13 Lost Frequencies- Black & Blue (feat. Mokita)

As the first track to be released off Lost Frequencies’ upcoming album, Black & Blue has that signature chilled sound, which when combined with Mokita’s smooth vocals creates a totally relaxed vibe. Despite the upbeat rhythm, the lyrics within Black & Blue are far more melancholic, touching on the idea of hurt and betrayal between lovers. Something worth mentioning is the music video, which incorporates creative editing and features a lot of famous DJs and producers throughout. See how many familiar faces you can spot below.

09/13 KSHMR & Lost Stories- Bombay Dreams (feat. Kavita Seth)
09/13 Tujamo & Lukas Vane- Drop It

For their new track Bombay Dreams, KSHMR and Lost Stories called upon well-known Indian singer Kavita Seth for the vocals. Typical of KSHMR, the song infuses traditional instruments to create an intersection between tradition and electronic music.

On the same day as the KSHMR release, TUJAMO dropped his collaboration with Lukas Vane... Drop It takes us back to TUJAMO's old classic sound, with a trumpet leading the rhythm. Both these songs were played in well-known EDM label Spinnin’ Records’ podcast, Spinnin’ Sessions 331. New Album Recommendation

Excision & Wooli- Evolution EP

Here’s some good news for headbangers. Besides the new song Shake which we introduced above, this week one of dubstep's newest stars, Wooli, got together with heavy bass superstar Exicision to release Evolution EP. In addition to two absolutely chaotic dub tracks, there’s also a collaboration with Trivecta as well as Seven Lions. If you're a fan of Seven Lions, Wooli, & Trivecta - Island (Feat. Nevve), then you'll definitely like Oxygen and Another Me, especially the latter with its goosebump-inducing drop.

09/13 Flux Pavilion & What So Not- 20:25 (feat. The Chain Gang Of 1974)

It's clear that Flux has stepped a little out of his comfort zone for this track, which is way off from his usual dub/drum & bass sound. The track, 20:25, gives off a much more chilled out feel but still manages to include an equal balance of elements from both artists. With vocals provided by The Chain Gang Of 1974, the artists different styles all blend together effortlessly and create a hit that deserves playing endlessly on repeat.
