Last year, Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP)—praised as one of Asia's biggest electronic music festivals— was moved to Bali for the event's 10th anniversary celebration. For this year's edition, the show will be making its way back to the capital city Jakarta, taking place over three days from December 13-15.
Stellar Phase 2 Lineup Just Revealed
The phase 1 lineup revealed that Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Skrillex and Zedd are set to headline the 11th edition of DWP. Just when you thought it couldn't get any stronger, English duo Disclosure were added to the list. This year the pair joined forces with Khalid for the chart-topping single, Talk, and claim to have written over 100 songs ahead of their next album release. Phase 2 also included the addition of trance DJ Markus Schulz, electro-funk Canadians Chromeo, electro-house duos Bassjackers and Blasterjaxx, as well as hardstyle heavyweight DJ Coone. Even though the lineup already exceeds expectations, DWP have announced that more acts are yet to follow, so keep an eye open for any updates.
This year, the colourful explosion that is Elrow will be returning to DWP, following their Indonesian debut last year. The brand has a reputation for throwing eccentric, immersive music experiences bursting with enough dancers, decorations and confetti to make your wildest acid trips come to life. Also just announced was the news that Yellow Claw's Barong Family brand will be hosting their own stage, seen previously at the EDM paradise that is Tomorrowland.
Tomorrowland Experience with Indonesian Prices
South-East Asia is known for its famously low prices, so it's no wonder Djakarta Warehouse Project attracts so many international visitors. A three-day ticket to the show costs just USD$150, which is a bargain compared to most of the other large-scale festivals around the world. Additionally, whilst the idea of buying a flight and accommodation may seem daunting, you can easily find an Airbnb or hotel near the venue without having to break the bank.
Djakarta Warehouse Project will take place at the JIExpo, Jakarta on December 13-15. More information and tickets are available via the link below or click here to find out about our exclusive DWP 5* hotel giveaway.
