Since 2012, True2Trance has been helping to boost trance's profile in Taiwan by throwing legendary parties with standout artists from the genre. The organisers for the gig are Spunite, an entertainment company focused on shaping the future of electronic music in Taiwan. In recent years, Spunite have hosted numerous dance music events and have even helped to bring some major festivals to the island, including Ultra Taiwan and S2O Taiwan.
The last True2Trance was held at the Westar exhibition centre, where we welcomed four world-class international DJs to Taipei, namely RAM, Sean Tyas, Jordan Suckley and Alex M.O.R.P.H. The event— held at the end of August— was scheduled to be the last of the year, but just when you thought it was all over... Spunite surprised us all by pulling one more show out of the bag, promising a party worthy enough to shut down 2019.
On December 7, ATT 4 Recharge will host the first ever True2Trance ONE, where Egyptian duo and trance royalty Aly & Fila will play from open til close as part of their It's All About The Melody album tour. That's five hours of nothing but hypnotic, euphoria-inducing trance coming your way this winter.

Aly & Fila
Aly & Fila are names that need no introductions among the trance community. The pair have been active in the scene since 2003, with five studio albums, 8 compilations and over 50 releases, they've well and truly put Egypt on the map for dance music.
The iconic duo has brought their music to the biggest stages in the world, including sets at EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Music Festival— in the last three years they were given the privilege of hosting their own Future Sound of Egypt stage at Tomorrowland.
Aly & Fila established their own mix series Future Sound of Egypt in 2006, before opening their own record label by the same name several years later. Now with over 600 episodes under their belt, in the past the duo hosted events at the Great Pyramid of Giza to celebrate landmark episodes of the show. These performances saw them cementing their status as Egypt's vanguards of trance, as they joined a join a coveted list of people to have been given the honour of playing at this unique location, famed as the only one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World still standing.
Despite leading the game for so long, the Aly & Fila's momentum hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, their rigorous touring schedule sees them play well over 100 shows annually and they continue to give us new releases year after year. In 2019 alone they were crowned the Best Trance DJ at the annual DJ Awards, in addition to beating Armin van Buuren to the No. 1 position on Trance Podium's Top 100 DJs ranking. This also marks the fourth time that the pair have earned this title since the chart began, back in 2010.
It's All About The Melody
Aly & Fila's sixth studio album It's All About The Melody is due for release later this year, ahead of their Taipei performance. The latest track to drop from the album is I Won't Let You Fall, a collaboration with JES— the American singer who's previously worked with the likes of Tiesto, Cosmic Gate, Marcus Schulz and so on... you can check it out here.
Prior to this latest release, Aly & Fila dropped the album's title track— first premiered on Armin van Buuren’s radio show A State Of Trance— as well as Gravity (with Deirdre McLaughlin) and their collaboration Come Home, for which they worked with fellow trance legends Kyau & Albert.
